Rashadah-e-Qaainaat
A Timeless Ode to Heritage, Love, and Mughal Opulence
The Inspiration: A Mother’s Legacy
At the heart of Rashadah-e-Qainat lies a story steeped in emotion—an exquisite tribute to the designer’s most cherished memory: his mother’s walima attire. Reimagined with modern refinement, the ensemble becomes a poetic harmony of Mughal grandeur and contemporary couture.
The Regal Dupatta: An Heirloom Reborn
Dupatta is the crown jewel of this creation. A delicate recreation of the one worn by the designer’s mother. Crafted in sheer fuchsia pink organza, it blooms with an intricate jall-dar pattern of leafy vines and floral motifs, lavishly embellished with antique gold salma sitara, naqshi, dabqa, and tilla. Its magnificence is framed with antique tamba kiran edging, flowing across its 3.25-meter expanse like a halo of light.
The Royal Bodice: Grace in Structure
The shirt is an architectural marvel in premium Indian raw silk, cut into a knee-length sleeveless straight silhouette crowned with a regal turtle neckline. Two symbolic arches define its artistry—one resting at the lower front hem, and the other a dramatic backless arch at the rear, accentuated with dangling handcrafted tassels that move like whispers of luxury. Two more tassels on the sides add rhythm and fluidity to the garment’s movement.
The Farshi Sharara: An Imperial Drape
Completing the attire is a farshi sharara, luxuriously tailored from fine crushed shamoos silk. Its majestic fall and regal volume echo the opulence of Mughal courts, flowing with every step like liquid royalty.
The Potli: A Regal Accessory
In homage to the timeless elegance of reticule bags. Ensemble paired with a formal potli pouch. Rendered in fuchsia pink organza, it mirrors the garment’s embellishments—antique gold salma sitara, zari, naqshi, and tilla—forming a lush floral border. Structured with an Indian raw silk lining and adorned with embellished straps and a drawstring closure, it serves as the perfect final flourish.
The Essence of Rashadah-e-Qainat
Named in honor of the designer’s mother. Rashadah-e-Qainat transcends the definition of attire. It is a memory immortalized in fabric. A sentiment shaped into couture, and an heirloom of love destined to echo through generations.
